Our school offers a range of extra-curricular activities to students. Some of these activities will attract a minimal cost to parents so that trained staff can be engaged to deliver quality programs. (Please note these activities are offered in addition to the mandatory curriculum requirements).
This allows students to pursue their individual interests. These activities are generally timetabled on a Friday during school time. Students are able to participate in these activities all year or opt in to these activities on a term basis.
To incorporate these opportunities, our school offers a project based learning environment every Friday for all students from years 2 - 6. On this day, students are able to investigate, explore, and collaborate to create a presentation or project linked with whole school topics on a five week cycle.
Some of these topics have included:
- Journey of the center of the earth.
- The animal Kingdom
- My family
- Global citizenship
